I was a regular visitor to the Polden Villagers for many years, and eventually moved here in 2016. I also became Village Hall Treasurer in 2016. Apart from dealing with my formal role, I really enjoy supporting events at the Hall, both as a helper and as an attendee. We are lucky to be able to live in such a friendly community, in which the Village Hall provides a venue for many local groups and events.

I was a chartered accountant for many years - including working professionally for several charities. I have also helped with several small local charities when my family were growing up. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, listening to the radio, drinking coffee, housework and ironing - and dancing in the kitchen with my granddaughters when I am not reading stories and trying to bake cakes with them.
